14.
O son (tāta), this extermination of the Rākṣasas, which is for the benefit of the ascetics (tapasvinām), you are the instrumental cause for it here, O descendant of Vasiṣṭha, in this sacrifice (kratu). Therefore, abandon this ritual (satra); may prosperity be yours; let this be concluded for you.
