रक्षसां च समुच्छेद एष तात तपस्विनाम् ।
निमित्तभूतस्त्वं चात्र क्रतौ वासिष्ठनन्दन ।
स सत्रं मुञ्च भद्रं ते समाप्तमिदमस्तु ते ॥१४॥

14. rakṣasāṁ ca samuccheda eṣa tāta tapasvinām ,

sa satraṁ muñca bhadraṁ te samāptamidamastu te.

14. O son (tāta), this extermination of the Rākṣasas, which is for the benefit of the ascetics (tapasvinām), you are the instrumental cause for it here, O descendant of Vasiṣṭha, in this sacrifice (kratu). Therefore, abandon this ritual (satra); may prosperity be yours; let this be concluded for you.
