योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-8, verse-9

संकल्पोन्मेषमात्रेण जगच्चित्रं विलोक्यते ।
तदनुन्मेषविलयि चित्रकृच्चित्तचित्रवत् ॥ ९ ॥
saṃkalponmeṣamātreṇa jagaccitraṃ vilokyate ,
tadanunmeṣavilayi citrakṛccittacitravat 9

9. Merely by the arising of an intention (saṅkalpa), the picture of the world is perceived. Then, with the subsidence of that intention, it dissolves, just like a painting within the mind of a painter.
