असत्यमेव स्फुरति सर्वमस्ति च नास्ति च ।
असदुत्थित एवायं कुतोपीव समुत्थितः ॥ २० ॥

asatyameva sphurati sarvamasti ca nāsti ca ,
asadutthita evāyaṃ kutopīva samutthitaḥ 20

It is the apparition of an unreality, and is present in appearance but absent in substance; it is verily the appearance of an unreality, by whatever cause it may have come to appear. (The Cause is said to be the original ignorance or delusion.
