प्रबोध्यमानोऽपि मया भूयोभूयस्ततस्ततः ।
न पपात पुरोदृश्ये परं निर्वाणमागतः ॥ २ ॥

Even though I repeatedly tried to awaken him from various angles, he did not return to the visible world, but rather attained supreme liberation (nirvāṇa).
