मेरुमूर्धनि मामेवमुक्त्वा स विहगाधिपः ।
तूष्णीं बभूव मुक्तात्मा ऋष्यमूक इवाम्बुदः ॥ १२ ॥

Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: After speaking to me in this manner on the summit of Mount Meru, that king of birds, whose self (ātman) was liberated, became silent, just like a cloud resting on Mount Rishyamuka.
