वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-75, verse-9

तस्य बुद्धिः समुत्पन्ना तपः कुर्यामनुत्तमम् ।
तपो हि परमं श्रेयस्तपो हि परमं सुखम् ॥९॥
9. tasya buddhiḥ samutpannā tapaḥ kuryāmanuttamam ,
tapo hi paramaṃ śreyastapo hi paramaṃ sukham.
