वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-52, verse-13

नाग्निस्तृप्यति काष्ठानां तृणानां च यथा तथा ।
हनूमान् राक्षसेन्द्राणां वधे किं चिन्न तृप्यति ॥१३॥
13. nāgnistṛpyati kāṣṭhānāṃ tṛṇānāṃ ca yathā tathā ,
hanūmān rākṣasendrāṇāṃ vadhe kiṃ cinna tṛpyati.
13. na agniḥ tṛpyati kāṣṭhānām tṛṇānām ca yathā tathā
hanūmān rākṣasendrāṇām vadhe kim cit na tṛpyati
13. yathā agniḥ kāṣṭhānām tṛṇānām ca na tṛpyati,
tathā hanūmān rākṣasendrāṇām vadhe kim cit na tṛpyati
13. Just as fire is never satisfied by logs and grass, similarly, Hanuman was not at all satisfied by the slaying of the prominent Rākṣasas.
