4. na cāsya kāryasya parākramādṛte viniścayaḥ kaścidihopapadyate ,

And no clear resolution for this task can be achieved here without valor. Indeed, the rākṣasas, whose chief warriors have been slain in battle, how could they possibly show any mildness here today?
