वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-5, chapter-31, verse-26

वसतो दण्डकारण्ये तस्याहममितौजसः ।
रक्षसापहृता भार्या रावणेन दुरात्मना ॥२६॥
26. vasato daṇḍakāraṇye tasyāhamamitaujasaḥ ,
rakṣasāpahṛtā bhāryā rāvaṇena durātmanā.

26. daṇḍakāraṇye vasataḥ tasya amitaujasaḥ bhāryā aham durātmanā rāvaṇena rakṣasā apahṛtā.
26. While he, of immeasurable might, was dwelling in the Daṇḍaka forest, I, his wife, was abducted by the evil-minded demon Rāvaṇa.
