वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-3, chapter-66, verse-6

दक्षिणो दक्षिणं बाहुमसक्तमसिना ततः ।
चिच्छेद रामो वेगेन सव्यं वीरस्तु लक्ष्मणः ॥६॥
6. dakṣiṇo dakṣiṇaṃ bāhumasaktamasinā tataḥ ,
ciccheda rāmo vegena savyaṃ vīrastu lakṣmaṇaḥ.
6. dakṣiṇaḥ dakṣiṇam bāhum asaktam asinā tataḥ
ciccheda rāmaḥ vegena savyam vīraḥ tu lakṣmaṇaḥ
6. tataḥ dakṣiṇaḥ rāmaḥ asinā asaktam dakṣiṇam bāhum vegena ciccheda.

6. Then, Rama, the right-hand warrior, swiftly cut off the right arm with his sword without hesitation, while the hero Lakshmana cut off the left arm.
