वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-43, verse-12

सूत इत्येव चाभाष्य सारथिं तमभीक्ष्णशः ।
हंसमत्तस्वरः श्रीमानुवाच पुरुषर्षभः ॥१२॥
12. sūta ityeva cābhāṣya sārathiṃ tamabhīkṣṇaśaḥ ,
haṃsamattasvaraḥ śrīmānuvāca puruṣarṣabhaḥ.
12. sūta iti eva ca ābhāṣya sārathim tam abhīkṣṇaśaḥ
haṃsamattasvaraḥ śrīmān uvāca puruṣarṣabhaḥ
12. śrīmān puruṣarṣabhaḥ haṃsamattasvaraḥ tam sārathim
sūta iti eva ca abhīkṣṇaśaḥ ābhāṣya uvāca
12. And having repeatedly addressed that charioteer with the words 'Charioteer (sūta)!', the glorious best among men (puruṣarṣabhaḥ), whose voice was like that of a joyous swan, spoke.
