वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-25, verse-12

पतंगा वृश्चिकाः कीटा दंशाश्च मशकैः सह ।
बाधन्ते नित्यमबले सर्वं दुःखमतो वनम् ॥१२॥
12. pataṃgā vṛścikāḥ kīṭā daṃśāśca maśakaiḥ saha ,
bādhante nityamabale sarvaṃ duḥkhamato vanam.

bādhante nityam abale sarvam duḥkham ataḥ vanam

saha nityam bādhante ataḥ vanam sarvam duḥkham
12. O weak woman, moths, scorpions, insects, and biting gnats, along with mosquitoes, constantly torment (one). Therefore, the forest is full of all kinds of suffering.
