वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-15, verse-7

अलमद्य हि भुक्तेन परमार्थैरलं च नः ।
यथा पश्याम निर्यान्तं रामं राज्ये प्रतिष्ठितम् ॥७॥
7. alamadya hi bhuktena paramārthairalaṃ ca naḥ ,
yathā paśyāma niryāntaṃ rāmaṃ rājye pratiṣṭhitam.
7. alam adya hi bhuktena paramārthaiḥ alam ca naḥ
yathā paśyāma niryāntam rāmam rājye pratiṣṭhitam
7. adya bhuktena hi alam ca naḥ paramārthaiḥ alam
yathā rāmam rājye pratiṣṭhitam niryāntam paśyāma
7. We have had enough of today's enjoyments, and enough of our ultimate aims (paramārtha)! May we instead see Rama, established in the kingdom, emerging (as king).
