वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-15, verse-5

पितामहैराचरितं तथैव प्रपितामहैः ।
अद्योपादाय तं मार्गमभिषिक्तो ऽनुपालय ॥५॥
5. pitāmahairācaritaṃ tathaiva prapitāmahaiḥ ,
adyopādāya taṃ mārgamabhiṣikto'nupālaya.
5. pitāmahaiḥ ācaritam tathā eva prapitāmahaiḥ
adya upādāya tam mārgam abhiṣiktaḥ anupālaya
5. abhiṣiktaḥ adya upādāya tam mārgam anupālaya

5. Having been consecrated today, you should maintain that path which was followed by your grandfathers and likewise by your great-grandfathers.
