वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-15, verse-14

ततः प्रविष्टे पितुरन्तिकं तदा जनः स सर्वो मुदितो नृपात्मजे ।
प्रतीक्षते तस्य पुनः स्म निर्गमं यथोदयं चन्द्रमसः सरित्पतिः ॥१४॥
14. tataḥ praviṣṭe piturantikaṃ tadā janaḥ sa sarvo mudito nṛpātmaje ,
pratīkṣate tasya punaḥ sma nirgamaṃ yathodayaṃ candramasaḥ saritpatiḥ.

14. Then, when that prince (Rāma) entered his father's presence, all the people were delighted. They eagerly awaited his departure, just as the ocean (saritpati) anticipates the rising of the moon.
