बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-87, verse-3

षष्ठे तु धननाशः स्यादात्मनो नाश एव वा ।
तद्दोषपरिहारार्थं शान्तिं कुर्याद् प्रयत्नतः ॥३॥
3. ṣaṣṭhe tu dhananāśaḥ syādātmano nāśa eva vā .
taddoṣaparihārārthaṃ śāntiṃ kuryād prayatnataḥ.

tat doṣaparihārārthaṃ śāntiṃ kuryāt prayatnataḥ
3. If the sixth house is afflicted, there may be a loss of wealth or even a destruction of the self (ātman). Therefore, to avert this fault, one should diligently perform a propitiation ritual (śānti).
