बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-26, verse-8

विशोध्यार्णवतो द्वाभ्यां लब्धं त्रिंशद्युतं च दृक् ।
द्व्यधिके तु विना राशिं भागास्तिथियुतास्तथा ॥८॥
8. viśodhyārṇavato dvābhyāṃ labdhaṃ triṃśadyutaṃ ca dṛk .
dvyadhike tu vinā rāśiṃ bhāgāstithiyutāstathā.
8. viśodhya arṇavataḥ dvābhyām labdham triṃśat yutam ca
dṛk dvi adhike tu vinā rāśim bhāgāḥ tithi yutāḥ tathā
8. Subtract (the difference) from four (signs), divide the obtained result by two, and then add thirty; this constitutes the aspect (dṛṣṭi). However, if the difference exceeds two signs but is less than three signs, then the degrees should be added to fifteen in a similar manner.
