भगवान् कतिधा दृष्टिर्बलं कतिविधं तथा ।
इति मे संशयो जातस्तं भवान् छेत्तुमर्हिति ॥१॥

O revered one, how many kinds of aspects (dṛṣṭi) are there, and how many types of strength (bala)? A doubt has arisen in me regarding this, and you ought to dispel it.
