बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-2, verse-4

दैत्यानां बलनाशाय देवानां बलवृद्धये ।
धर्मसंस्तापनार्थाय ग्रहाज्जाताः शुभाः क्रमात् ॥४॥
4. daityānāṃ balanāśāya devānāṃ balavṛddhaye .
dharmasaṃstāpanārthāya grahājjātāḥ śubhāḥ kramāt.

4. For the destruction of the demons' power, for the increase of the gods' power, and for the purpose of firmly establishing natural law (dharma), auspicious beings are born successively from the planets.
