बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-2, verse-3

अवताराण्यनेकानि ह्यजस्य परमात्मनः ।
जीवानां कर्मफलदो ग्रहरूपी जनार्दनः ॥३॥
3. avatārāṇyanekāni hyajasya paramātmanaḥ .
jīvānāṃ karmaphalado graharūpī janārdanaḥ.

3. Indeed, there are many incarnations (avatārāṇi) of the unborn Supreme Self (paramātman). The Lord Janārdana, in the form of planets (graha), bestows the results of (karma) actions upon living beings (jīva).
