मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-79, verse-8

भूर्लोकोऽयं स्मृता भूमिरन्तरिक्षं दिवः स्मृतम् ।
दिव्याख्याश्च तथा स्वर्गस्त्रैलोक्यमिति गद्यते ॥८॥
8. bhūrloko'yaṃ smṛtā bhūmirantarikṣaṃ divaḥ smṛtam .
divyākhyāśca tathā svargastrailokyamiti gadyate.
8. bhūrlokaḥ ayam smṛtā bhūmiḥ antarikṣam divaḥ smṛtam
divyākhyāḥ ca tathā svargaḥ trailokyam iti gadyate
8. This earthly realm (Bhurloka) is designated as the earth (bhūmi). Antariksha, the mid-region, is considered the heavenly realm (divas). And similarly, Svarga, which also carries divine appellations (divyākhyā), is thus spoken of as the three worlds (trailokya).
