वैवस्वतमिदं ब्रह्मन् कथितन्ते मयान्तरम् ।
अस्मिन् श्रुते नरः सद्यः पठिते चैव सत्तम ।
मुच्यते पातकैः सर्वैः पुण्यञ्च महदश्नते ॥१३॥

13.
O Brahmin, I have narrated to you this account concerning Vaivasvata (Manu) and the intermediate period. O best of noble ones, a person who immediately hears or reads this (narrative) is liberated from all sins and attains great merit.
