मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-79, verse-5

सर्वे ते त्रिदशेन्द्रास्तु विज्ञेयास्तुल्यलक्षणाः ।
सहस्राक्षाः कुलिशिनः सर्व एव पुरन्दराः ॥५॥
5. sarve te tridaśendrāstu vijñeyāstulyalakṣaṇāḥ .
sahasrākṣāḥ kuliśinaḥ sarva eva purandarāḥ.
5. sarve te tridaśendrāḥ tu vijñeyāḥ tulya-lakṣaṇāḥ
sahasrākṣāḥ kuliśinaḥ sarve eva purandarāḥ
5. All those lords of the gods (tridaśa-indra) should be understood as possessing similar characteristics: they are all thousand-eyed, wielding thunderbolts, and known as destroyers of cities (purandara).
