मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-79, verse-7

धर्माद्यैः कारणैः सुद्धैराधिपत्यगुणान्विताः ।
भूतभव्यभवन्नाथाः शृणु चैतत् त्रयं द्विज ॥७॥
7. dharmādyaiḥ kāraṇaiḥ suddhairādhipatyaguṇānvitāḥ .
bhūtabhavyabhavannāthāḥ śṛṇu caitat trayaṃ dvija.
7. dharma-ādyaiḥ kāraṇaiḥ śuddhaiḥ ādhipatya-guṇa-anvitāḥ
bhūta-bhavya-bhavat-nāthāḥ śṛṇu ca etat trayam dvija
7. Endowed with the qualities of supremacy through pure reasons (śuddha kāraṇa) such as (dharma) and others, they are the lords of the past, present, and future. O twice-born (dvija), now listen to these three.
