महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-23, verse-15

अद्य चाप्यस्य राष्ट्रस्य हतोत्साहस्य संजय ।
अवशेषं न पश्यामि ककुदे मृदिते सति ॥१५॥
15. adya cāpyasya rāṣṭrasya hatotsāhasya saṁjaya ,
avaśeṣaṁ na paśyāmi kakude mṛdite sati.
15. adya ca api asya rāṣṭrasya hatotsāhasya
saṃjaya avaśeṣam na paśyāmi kakude mṛdite sati
15. saṃjaya adya ca asya hatotsāhasya rāṣṭrasya
api avaśeṣam na paśyāmi mṛdite kakude sati
15. And today, O Sanjaya, I see no remainder of this kingdom, whose spirit is crushed, just as when a bull's hump is destroyed.
