पूर्वं कृतयुगं नाम ततस्त्रेतायुगं विभो ।
संक्षेपाद्द्वापरस्याथ ततः पुष्यं प्रवर्तते ॥४॥

4. pūrvaṁ kṛtayugaṁ nāma tatastretāyugaṁ vibho ,
saṁkṣepāddvāparasyātha tataḥ puṣyaṁ pravartate.

4. O lord, first is the age called Kṛta Yuga, then the Tretā Yuga. After that, briefly, the Dvāpara age, and then the Puṣya age begins.
