महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-43, verse-5

शराणां पुङ्खसक्तानां मौर्व्याभिहतया दृढम् ।
श्रूयतां तलयोः शब्दो भेर्योराहतयोरिव ॥५॥
5. śarāṇāṁ puṅkhasaktānāṁ maurvyābhihatayā dṛḍham ,
śrūyatāṁ talayoḥ śabdo bheryorāhatayoriva.

śrūyatām talayoḥ śabdaḥ bheryoḥ āhatayoḥ iva
5. Let the strong sound of the palms, struck firmly by the bowstring as arrows are nocked, be heard, like the sound of two beaten drums.
