महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-43, verse-1

कर्ण उवाच ।
सर्वानायुष्मतो भीतान्संत्रस्तानिव लक्षये ।
अयुद्धमनसश्चैव सर्वांश्चैवानवस्थितान् ॥१॥
1. karṇa uvāca ,
sarvānāyuṣmato bhītānsaṁtrastāniva lakṣaye ,
ayuddhamanasaścaiva sarvāṁścaivānavasthitān.
1. karṇa uvāca sarvān āyuṣmataḥ bhītān saṃtrastān iva
lakṣaye ayuddhamanasaḥ ca eva sarvān ca eva anavasthitān
1. Karṇa said: "I see all these long-lived warriors, fearful and as if terrified. Furthermore, all of them are disinclined to fight and appear agitated."
