महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-11, verse-8

न कातरं स्यान्मम जातु वाहनं न मेऽस्ति दुष्टा वडवा कुतो हयाः ।
जनस्तु मामाह स चापि पाण्डवो युधिष्ठिरो ग्रन्थिकमेव नामतः ॥८॥
8. na kātaraṁ syānmama jātu vāhanaṁ; na me'sti duṣṭā vaḍavā kuto hayāḥ ,
janastu māmāha sa cāpi pāṇḍavo; yudhiṣṭhiro granthikameva nāmataḥ.
8. na kātaram syāt mama jātu vāhanam na
me asti duṣṭā vaḍavā kutaḥ hayāḥ
janaḥ tu mām āha saḥ ca api pāṇḍavaḥ
yudhiṣṭhiraḥ granthikam eva nāmatas
8. My conveyance will never be timid, nor do I possess any vicious mare. How then could I have (bad) horses? People, however, call me, that scion of Pāṇḍu, Yudhiṣṭhira, by the name Granthaika.
