महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-11, verse-12

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
तथा स गन्धर्ववरोपमो युवा विराटराज्ञा मुदितेन पूजितः ।
न चैनमन्येऽपि विदुः कथंचन प्रियाभिरामं विचरन्तमन्तरा ॥१२॥
12. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
tathā sa gandharvavaropamo yuvā; virāṭarājñā muditena pūjitaḥ ,
na cainamanye'pi viduḥ kathaṁcana; priyābhirāmaṁ vicarantamantarā.

yuvā virāṭarājñā muditena
pūjitaḥ na ca enam anye api viduḥ
kathaṃcana priyābhirāmaṃ vicarantam antarā
12. Vaiśaṃpāyana said: Thus, that young man, resembling the best of the gandharvas, was honored by King Virāṭa, who was delighted. Yet, no one else could somehow recognize him as he moved about, delighting everyone in their midst.
