यावद्धि कुरुमुख्यस्य जीवत्पुत्रस्य वै सुखम् ।
बभूव तदवाप्नोतु भोगांश्चेति व्यवस्थिताः ॥९॥

9. yāvaddhi kurumukhyasya jīvatputrasya vai sukham ,
babhūva tadavāpnotu bhogāṁśceti vyavasthitāḥ.

9. Whatever happiness the chief of the Kurus (Dhṛtarāṣṭra) indeed experienced while his sons were alive, may he obtain that and all enjoyments. Thus, it was decided.
