महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-96, verse-8

सोऽहं त्वयि स्थितो ह्यद्य क्षमावति महात्मनि ।
बिभेमि तपसः साधो प्रसादं कुरु मे विभो ॥८॥
8. so'haṁ tvayi sthito hyadya kṣamāvati mahātmani ,
bibhemi tapasaḥ sādho prasādaṁ kuru me vibho.
8. saḥ aham tvayi sthitaḥ hi adya kṣamāvati mahātmani
bibhemi tapasaḥ sādho prasādam kuru me vibho
8. saḥ aham adya tvayi kṣamāvati mahātmani sthitaḥ hi.

8. I (personified anger) am indeed present in you today, O forgiving and great-souled one (mahātman). I fear your spiritual power (tapas), O virtuous one. Therefore, O Lord, please grant me your grace.
