महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-96, verse-10

यानुद्दिश्य तु संकल्पः पयसोऽस्य कृतो मया ।
पितरस्ते महाभागास्तेभ्यो बुध्यस्व गम्यताम् ॥१०॥
10. yānuddiśya tu saṁkalpaḥ payaso'sya kṛto mayā ,
pitaraste mahābhāgāstebhyo budhyasva gamyatām.
10. yān uddiśya tu saṃkalpaḥ payasaḥ asya kṛtaḥ mayā
pitaraḥ te mahābhāgāḥ tebhyaḥ budhyasva gamyatām
10. tu mayā yān uddiśya asya payasaḥ saṃkalpaḥ kṛtaḥ te
mahābhāgāḥ pitaraḥ (santi) tebhyaḥ budhyasva (tvaṃ) gamyatām
10. Indeed, those exalted ancestors (pitaras) are the ones for whom I made this solemn resolve (saṃkalpa) with this water. Understand (this truth regarding) them, and depart!
