महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-14, chapter-96, verse-6

तमाज्ञाय मुनिः क्रोधं नैवास्य चुकुपे ततः ।
स तु क्रोधस्तमाहेदं प्राञ्जलिर्मूर्तिमान्स्थितः ॥६॥
6. tamājñāya muniḥ krodhaṁ naivāsya cukupe tataḥ ,
sa tu krodhastamāhedaṁ prāñjalirmūrtimānsthitaḥ.
6. tam ājñāya muniḥ krodham na eva asya cukūpe tataḥ saḥ
tu krodhaḥ tam āha idam prāñjaliḥ mūrtimān sthitaḥ
6. muniḥ tam krodham ājñāya asya na eva cukūpe.
tataḥ tu saḥ krodhaḥ mūrtimān prāñjaliḥ sthitaḥ tam idam āha.
6. Having recognized the anger (krodha), the sage (muni) was indeed not enraged by it. Then, that anger (krodha) itself, standing embodied with folded hands, said this to him.
