महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-22, verse-6

ब्राह्मणस्यापि चेद्राजन्क्षत्रधर्मेण तिष्ठतः ।
प्रशस्तं जीवितं लोके क्षत्रं हि ब्रह्मसंस्थितम् ॥६॥
6. brāhmaṇasyāpi cedrājankṣatradharmeṇa tiṣṭhataḥ ,
praśastaṁ jīvitaṁ loke kṣatraṁ hi brahmasaṁsthitam.

praśastam jīvitam loke kṣatram hi brahmasaṃsthitam

6. Even for a Brahmin, O king, who follows the natural law (dharma) of a Kṣatriya, his life is praised in the world, because the Kṣatriya class (kṣatra) is indeed established in Brahman.
