महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-22, verse-13

स त्वं यज्ञैर्महाराज यजस्व बहुदक्षिणैः ।
यथैवेन्द्रो मनुष्येन्द्र चिराय विगतज्वरः ॥१३॥
13. sa tvaṁ yajñairmahārāja yajasva bahudakṣiṇaiḥ ,
yathaivendro manuṣyendra cirāya vigatajvaraḥ.
13. sa tvam yajñaiḥ mahārāja yajasva bahudakṣiṇaiḥ
yathā eva indraḥ manuṣyendra cirāya vigatajvaraḥ
13. mahārāja manuṣyendra sa tvam cirāya vigatajvaraḥ
indraḥ yathā eva bahudakṣiṇaiḥ yajñaiḥ yajasva
13. Therefore, O great king, you should perform Vedic rituals (yajña) with many offerings, just as Indra, O lord of men, [did] for a long time, free from distress.
