केनासि रक्षसे तस्मै कथितेह जिहीर्षवे ।
न हि त्वां वेद तद्रक्षो मद्भार्यां चारुहासिनीम् ॥९॥

Then, enraged, Bhṛgu questioned his wife Pulomā: 'By whom were you revealed here to that Rākṣasa who wished to abduct you? Surely, that Rākṣasa did not know you, my beautiful smiling wife!'
