महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-6, verse-11

पुलोमोवाच ।
अग्निना भगवंस्तस्मै रक्षसेऽहं निवेदिता ।
ततो मामनयद्रक्षः क्रोशन्तीं कुररीमिव ॥११॥
11. pulomovāca ,
agninā bhagavaṁstasmai rakṣase'haṁ niveditā ,
tato māmanayadrakṣaḥ krośantīṁ kurarīmiva.
11. pulomā uvāca agninā bhagavan tasmai rakṣase aham
niveditā tataḥ mām anayat rakṣaḥ krośantīm kurarīm iva
11. Pulomā said: 'O revered one, I was revealed by Agni to that Rākṣasa. Then that Rākṣasa took me away, even as I cried out like a curlew.'
