महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-6, verse-6

अश्रुबिन्दूद्भवा तस्याः प्रावर्तत महानदी ।
अनुवर्तती सृतिं तस्या भृगोः पत्न्या यशस्विनः ॥६॥
6. aśrubindūdbhavā tasyāḥ prāvartata mahānadī ,
anuvartatī sṛtiṁ tasyā bhṛgoḥ patnyā yaśasvinaḥ.
6. aśrubindūdbhavā tasyāḥ prāvartata mahānadī
anuvarthatī sṛtim tasyāḥ bhṛgoḥ patnyāḥ yaśasvinaḥ
6. From her [tears], a great river, born from the drops of her tears, began to flow, following the path of that famous wife of Bhṛgu.
