महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-190, verse-4

यदि वायं विहितः शंकरेण धर्मोऽधर्मो वा नात्र ममापराधः ।
गृह्णन्त्विमे विधिवत्पाणिमस्या यथोपजोषं विहितैषां हि कृष्णा ॥४॥
4. yadi vāyaṁ vihitaḥ śaṁkareṇa; dharmo'dharmo vā nātra mamāparādhaḥ ,
gṛhṇantvime vidhivatpāṇimasyā; yathopajoṣaṁ vihitaiṣāṁ hi kṛṣṇā.
4. yadi vā ayam vihitaḥ śaṅkareṇa dharmaḥ
adharmaḥ vā na atra mama aparādhaḥ
gṛhṇantu ime vidhivat pāṇim asyāḥ
yathā upajoṣam vihitā eṣām hi kṛṣṇā
4. Whether this arrangement was ordained by Shankara (Shiva), and whether it is an act of righteousness (dharma) or unrighteousness (adharma), there is no fault of mine in this matter. Let these [men] lawfully take her hand, for Kṛṣṇā (Draupadi) has indeed been ordained for them according to their desire.
