योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-17, verse-7

अहंरसो विलीनोन्तरनहंताचिदर्चिषा ।
शरीरपर्णादुद्वर्णान्न जाने क्वाशु गच्छति ॥ ७ ॥
ahaṃraso vilīnontaranahaṃtācidarciṣā ,
śarīraparṇādudvarṇānna jāne kvāśu gacchati 7
7. aham-rasaḥ vilīnaḥ antar-anahantā-cit-arciṣā
śarīra-parṇāt utvarṇaḥ na jāne kva āśu gacchati
7. The essence of 'I' (aham-rasa), having dissolved within by the flame of inner non-egoic consciousness, and having vanished from the leaf of the body (śarīra-parṇa), I do not know where it quickly goes.
