श्रीराम उवाच ।
कीदृश्यो भगवन्योगभूमिकाः सप्तसिद्धिदाः ।
समासेनेति मे ब्रूहि सर्वतत्त्वविदांवर ॥ १ ॥

kīdṛśyo bhagavanyogabhūmikāḥ saptasiddhidāḥ ,
samāseneti me brūhi sarvatattvavidāṃvara 1

1. Śrī Rāma said: O Lord, O best among those who know all principles, what are the seven stages of yoga (yoga) that grant accomplishments? Please tell me this briefly.
