लक्ष्मणश्चैव धर्मात्मा मन्निदेशे व्यवस्थितः ।
त्वं चानुकूला वैदेहि प्रीतिं जनयथो मम ॥१६॥

And Lakṣmaṇa, whose inner self (ātman) is dedicated to righteousness (dharma), remains steadfast in obedience to my command; and you, O Vaidehi, being agreeable, both of you generate affection for me.
