वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-2, chapter-100, verse-6

एवमेव मनुष्याणां पिता माता गृहं वसु ।
आवासमात्रं काकुत्स्थ सज्जन्ते नात्र सज्जनाः ॥६॥
6. evameva manuṣyāṇāṃ pitā mātā gṛhaṃ vasu ,
āvāsamātraṃ kākutstha sajjante nātra sajjanāḥ.
6. evam eva manuṣyāṇām pitā mātā gṛham vasu
āvāsamātram kākutstha sajjante na atra sajjanāḥ
6. kākutstha evam eva manuṣyāṇām pitā mātā gṛham

6. In the same way, O Kakutstha, for human beings, father, mother, home, and wealth are merely temporary abodes. Virtuous people do not become attached to these.
