वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-1, chapter-63, verse-14

तस्य शापेन महता रम्भा शैली तदाभवत् ।
वचः श्रुत्वा च कन्दर्पो महर्षेः स च निर्गतः ॥१४॥
14. tasya śāpena mahatā rambhā śailī tadābhavat ,
vacaḥ śrutvā ca kandarpo maharṣeḥ sa ca nirgataḥ.

14. Due to his mighty curse, Rambha was then transformed into a stone. And having heard the great sage's words, Kama (Kandarpa) also departed.
