बृहत्-पाराशर-होरा-शास्त्रम्       bṛhat-pārāśara-horā-śāstram - chapter-37, verse-1

सहस्ररश्मितचन्द्रे कण्टकादिगते क्रमात् ।
धनधीनैपुणादीनि न्यूनमध्योत्तमानि हि ॥१॥

1. When the Sun and Moon are situated in the cardinal (kendra) houses, the succeeding (paṇaphara) houses, or the cadent (āpoklima) houses, respectively, then the native's wealth, intelligence, and skill, among other qualities, will be high, medium, or low accordingly.
