मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-100, verse-8

सृष्टिं करोमि यदहं तव शक्तिराद्या तत्प्रेरितो जलमहीपवनाग्निरूपाम् ।
तद्देवतादिविषयां प्रणवाद्यशेषां नात्मेच्छया स्थितिलयावपि तद्वदेव ॥८॥
8. sṛṣṭiṃ karomi yadahaṃ tava śaktirādyā tatprerito jalamahīpavanāgnirūpām .
taddevatādiviṣayāṃ praṇavādyaśeṣāṃ nātmecchayā sthitilayāvapi tadvadeva.
8. sṛṣṭim karomi yat aham tava śaktiḥ ādyā
tatpreritaḥ jalamahīpavanāgnirūpām
tatdevatādiviṣayām praṇavādyaśeṣām na
ātmeccayā sthitilayau api tadvadeva
8. I create this creation (sṛṣṭi) – the primordial power (śakti) is yours – being impelled by that (power), I create the forms of water, earth, wind, and fire. This creation, whose deities and objects are all included from the praṇava (OM) onwards, is not by my own will. Similarly, the maintenance and dissolution are also not by my own will.
