महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-5, chapter-83, verse-16

विशेषतश्च वासार्थं सभां ग्रामे वृकस्थले ।
विदधे कौरवो राजा बहुरत्नां मनोरमाम् ॥१६॥
16. viśeṣataśca vāsārthaṁ sabhāṁ grāme vṛkasthale ,
vidadhe kauravo rājā bahuratnāṁ manoramām.

16. And especially, the Kuru king (rājā) constructed a delightful, richly jeweled palace in the village named Vṛkasthala for the purpose of residence.
