18.
But when the righteous (dharma-yuktān) were subjected to destruction (vadha) by the unworthy (anarhān) through wicked deeds (vikarmaṇā), then that sinful man (pāpa-puruṣa), along with his followers, had to be restrained by all means. O great king, you should not grieve for your son in this matter.
