महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-10, verse-8

अर्जुन उवाच ।
गायामि नृत्याम्यथ वादयामि भद्रोऽस्मि नृत्ते कुशलोऽस्मि गीते ।
त्वमुत्तरायाः परिदत्स्व मां स्वयं भवामि देव्या नरदेव नर्तकः ॥८॥
8. arjuna uvāca ,
gāyāmi nṛtyāmyatha vādayāmi; bhadro'smi nṛtte kuśalo'smi gīte ,
tvamuttarāyāḥ paridatsva māṁ svayaṁ; bhavāmi devyā naradeva nartakaḥ.
8. arjuna uvāca gāyāmi nṛtyāmi atha
vādayāmi bhadraḥ asmi nṛtte kuśalaḥ asmi
gīte tvam uttarāyāḥ paridatsva mām
svayam bhavāmi devyā naradeva nartakaḥ
8. Arjuna said: "I sing, I dance, and I play musical instruments. I am excellent in dance and skilled in music. O King, you yourself should entrust me to Uttarā; I will be the queen's dancer."
